"JOHN DEERE P SERIES: You will need to remove two of the pins to operate properly.  We jumper C to E and D to F to allow choice of controls but the new P models sense the connection as a short and shut the hydraulics off.
I had to remove the red wire on pin E (right joystick) and white wire on Pin F (left joystick), that solved the machine sensing a short and disabling the hydraulics. 
It's hard to see in the picture but on the picture of the 2 Deutz connectors the pink/black wires are for the right joystick and the green and white wires are for the left joystick.   I did move the Ground from A-B "

If you encounter someone with the new Cat P series or Devalon machines and they report their 14 pin attachment is not functioning, it is likely NOT the attachment.
As it turns out, while they have the same pin configuration as a D series cat, there is a coil that checks for specific resistance. If that resistance is not met, the machine will throw a code. 
SSG is working on this with a 14 pin to 14 pin adapter that has an 8 ohm resistor in it to get around there. It is in the testing phase now.
